Most likely an allusion to the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. After his wife (Eurydice) passes away, Orpheus travels to the underworld to have an audience with Hades himself in an attempt to bring his wife back to life. Being a skilled musician, he manages to persuade the god of the dead by playing a melody with his lyre. Despite things seemingly going well, however, Orpheus's attempt to bring his wife back ends in tragedy.

A few corrections to the lyrics:
should be
should be
should be
Or at least these are the ones I could catch, based off of the lyrics in the mv
