Yes, it seems so. In this song (same melody, but with a better text and a better singer), there is something about "ambre", perhaps hence came the confusion.

Oh my, to me it's just like night and day. Nana has a wonderful voice, and she sings with her heart. Mireille shouts, and she sings with her throat, or whatever weird device she uses. The only bad with Nana is that she sometimes had to sing rather stupid songs (especially in French and German). But in Greek, in English, and in French - when they gave her something better to sing - she's just the best !

ANDREIJ, я часто на этом сайте делаю транскрипции русских песен и не редко ошибаюсь, распознавая на слух слова. Добрые люди порой меня поправляют и я им очень благодарен за это. Причины бывают разные. Обычно, делая перерывы и прослушивая песню снова и снова удается все-таки расслышать проблемное слово, но не всегда. Есть очень много песен, от которых я попросту отказался - просто не мог понять, что поют.

Jadis, thank you very much for your "slow-mo"! It's was really tricky transcribing a song in Russian and to encounter a word in other language let alone it was shortened, is it "slow motion"? Just my mind was tuned to hear Russian words and sounds. I also thought is might be some abbreviation, like SUMO - meaning some place in the city, where they were heading to. I'm going to correct the text, thank you a lot!

Yeah, I already corrected, leaving credits to you and Brat. Sometimes I just can't understand what they sing in a song and what I really hear makes no sense to me, and it is always a pleasant surprise when someone else tells you what it is, and everything all at once takes its place.

About "ambre / ombre" : neither "ambre", nor "ombre" seem really relevant here (as far as the meaning is concerned). If you look at the rhyming system, you would expect a word rhyming with "lande"... "Ambre" is a very poor rhyme indeed (it's only an "assonance"), but nevertheless it would be a little better then "ombre". Perhaps the author of the text knew the other version and vaguely remembered the word "ambre". To me it seems that Mireille Mathieu herself was not very sure what to sing, because once she says "ombre", and the next time something between "ambre" and "ombre"...

ok, merci , i think Ombre, because also вереск(bruyère) не цвета янтаря(Ambre),котoрый желтый, а -фиолетовый, те могу перевести как цвет призрака(l'Ombre)
