Shouldn't this be performed by Auli'i Cravalho as well as Alessia Cara?

perfect

This is the pop version, sung by Alessia Cara. Auli'i Cravalho will sing the film version (I added also the video of the pop version).

Are there any differences between the pop and the movie version? It's better to add '(pop version)' or '(Alessia Cara)' to the song title to differentiate them, if so.

I thought that writing "Alessia Cara" was enough to make people understand it was the pop version. Anyway if it can help I can add "pop version" to the title ^^

oh and anyway, yeah, lyrics are a bit different between film and pop version so I really think they should be separated.

That's why I asked for the 'Pop version' tag to be added. It won't allow duplicates to be added and will differentiate the songs which have different lyrics. Thanks for clarifying, though.

no problem, sorry if I created confusion ^^

She pronounces also the "see"

Are you sure about this? "Then I'll know" doesn't respect the music metric and hoenstly listening to the song I still hear "One day I'll know" ...

at the Oscars she clearly sings the "see", so I really don't know what to say

I made also an English friend of mine cheking it and she said Alessia sings "One day I'll know" so I guess the correction is useless

If you compare the two instances where she sings this passage you hear pretty clearly the difference in pronunciation.
Another indicator for that she sings: "And then I'll know..." to end that song is the Spanish version of it.
There the posted (and sung!) lyrics say for the last line: >"por fin sabré cuán lejos voy..."
meaning: "Eventually I'll know how far I'll go"
In the English "How Far I'll Go (Reprise)" - version the last two lines are:
>"Soon I'll know
How far I'll go"
The Italian and the Portuguese version have this twist in the lyrics aswell.
"Onde Irei Ter [How far I'll go] (Portuguese Version)" says: >"Eu vou saber, onde irei ter!" meaning: "I'll know where I'll go!"
You are right concerning your objection reference the meter.
She actually sings "And then I'll know how far I go" instead of: "Then I'll know ..." as I had indicated.
With the "And ..." the meter of syllables is held.

Why has the pop version been deleted keeping just the film version one in "Moana (OST)"?
Ok that the lyrics are the same, but the song is different in terms of musicality and usually we always keep two versions for every soundtrack if there is a film and a pop one...
Someone deleted the film verison and added Alessia Cara here in featuring... and I think we should consider the idea to make again the pop version with its own video and interptetation because this is confusing for who is looking for the song and find this sort of "mix".
Let's tell me what you think about!

In addition I want to remember that we did the same for "Beauty and the Beast". Lyrics of the songs from Angela Lansbury and from Celine Dion and from Ariana Grande are TOTALLY THE SAME, but still there are three different versions on lyricstranslate and every one has its own video and interpretation also if the lyrics are the same.
I think it is unfair to delete the pop version of "How far I'll go".
Video updated.
