Αργά-αργά θα γείρω,

σαν μέρα που περνά.

Στην αγκαλιά σου θα χαθώ και θ' ανατείλω,

Little by little I will lean

like a day going by.

for the first time.

The breaths and the hands,

the words, the bodies,

the sighs of the world and the laughs,

now are taking place again.

We slide and pass by

and if something stays here,

it is the light, gifted to us in order to see

within the life you and me.

The years will melt us down

and if something is to be left here

then it would be the light, left by the days gone by,

only the light!
