Justice

Even standing on the tip of my toes, I can't understand
The more I gather seeds the more the petals fall

Just hugging my knees, resisting, sitting by your side
I'm waving my hands today because I want to see you

Bloodshot eyes and a dim sound
With a rasping voice I sing with you

Will I get used to the warmth of the deep afternoon naps?
Only that upbeat smile doesn't seem out of place

Just remember, please don't end, it's like I want to hug you
A simple smile won't bring it to an end

It's just that we celebrated, and we've given and taken, but now it's goodbye
Our late promise just added a layer of cold skin

Like the justice in a faint voice that was kept alive

Getting close and far away, we tried studying each other
Getting close and far away, we tried understanding each other
Getting close and far away, we tried laughing together
Getting close and far away, we found each other by chance

This is something that won't change even if you nudge me awake
Because I cared about it too much

Certainly, from now on
I'll gather it into even more beautiful letters 1

Even if I'm not doing anything wrong
If hiding secrets is "justice"

Overcome your tendency to get easily scared
"Come back anytime" became a favorite phrase

Just remember, please don't end, it's like I want to hug you
A simple smile won't bring it to an end

It's just that we celebrated, and we've given and taken, but now it's goodbye
Our late promise

Just added a layer of cold skin
Like the justice in a faint voice that was kept alive

So many times I've tried talking to you, tried closing my eyes
But suddenly my mind goes blank and I say too much

Now I just wish — simply and miserably, that you and I
Could talk with those "yeah yeah", impudent but giving our best

A ticklish smile while taking about a dream is now all I have

Don't be heard yet, please don't end, it's like I want to hug you
Your voice fading away sounds so free of lies

It's just that we celebrated, and we've given and taken, but now it's goodbye
Our late promise just added a layer of cold skin

Like the justice in a faint voice that was kept alive

Getting close and far away, we tried studying each other
Getting close and far away, we tried understanding each other
Getting close and far away, we tried laughing together
Getting close and far away, we found each other by chance

Getting close and far away, we tried studying each other
Getting close and far away, we tried understanding each other
Getting close and far away, we tried laughing together
Getting close and far away, we tried finding each other by chance

Some lines could be interpreted in other ways, but to me the song is written from the point of view of someone who's dreaming of a lost loved one.

Nearing the end, the song text starts to accumulate more and more misspellings (intentionally), giving the impression of being deteriorated, or fading away like the memory of a dream. For example, some lines become mixed with other words:
• はしゃいだって => はシャイいだって : Spelled with "shy" (シャイ) in the middle.
• さよならさ => さよなら差 : Spelled with "差", meaning "difference"
• 近づいて => 地下着いて : Spelled like "Reaching the underground", but read the same.
• 遠のいて => 問い解いて : Spelled like "Solving questions". This phrase should have a different pronunciation, but in the song it's read the same as "遠のいて".
Other misspellings accumulate, but they're mostly the text written in Katakana or Kanji that sound the same. I don't really think the spelling mistakes carry significance, other than giving the impression that the meaning of the words is becoming hazy and confused, like waking up from a dream. All throughout, only the word "巡り合っていたんだ / 巡り合ってみたんだ" continues to be spelled correctly, suggesting that memory is still clear.
