Some day, sure, asap, the some military confrontation in Ukraine will be quietly calm down. They'll do it on its own and peacefully move to any bases and homes. Sure, "The Slavic Woman's Farewell" will sound again and everywhere.
The not well known fact, which is deliberately omitted by sharps of Russian heritage about this popular song, is that latter has accent of real farewell, but not espedially on ideological or otherwise politicized sense used in remembrance of a Victory in WWII in different from original editions of this song.
The popular march has been performing traditionally mostly at the moment of a train or ship starting leaving, as to the sound of this tune - farewell to the place of leaving, and of course when soldiers went BACK HOME, after completion of the term of their service - farewell to the fellow soldiers. It was really very solemnly. So despite military time wording in the original lyrics the song is continue to be very and very peaceful and, as such loved by generations of Slavic people. There was not located English version, so I just closed this gap and represent it for your judgment and support of a peaceful regulations of that just temporary struggles.
By the way exercise your educational level in regard the colors of Russian flags meaning: white - Belarusian people; blue - Ukrainians, red - Russians. That is.
There is an example of contemporary shortened version in the living performance before veterans by popular Russian actors Zara/Pevtsov, which is provided in the comment right below this post.
P.S. It was written by me in the very beginning of my romantic escape. As of today, you may wanna listen to a version of this translation made for Americans, especially, Marine Corps (USMC) --- aka The Lovely Darling's Farewell --- https://www.reverbnation.com/boriskzorin/song/31585991-lovely-darlings-f...
Thanks for your attention,
Enjoy
