Asereje

Look what’s coming up
around the corner
comes Diego dancing Rumba
With the moon in his pupils
and his turquoise suit
it seems smuggled
And there, where not even a soul can be squeezed in
He gets in whatever it takes
posessed by the ragatanga rhythm
And the D.J., who knows him,
Plays the midnight hymn,
the most desired song for Diego
And he dances to it, and enjoys it, and sings it…

Aserejé, ja deje dejebe tudejebe de
sebiunouva majabi an de bugui an de buididipí (3 times)

It’s not witchcraft
the fact that I find him everyday
wherever I walk through
Diego has natural charm
and that rastafarian afrogypsy
happiness spot

And there, where not even a soul can be squeezed in
He gets in whatever it takes
posessed by the ragatanga rhythm
And the D.J., who knows him,
Plays the midnight hymn,
the most desired song for Diego
And he dances to it, and enjoys it, and sings it…

Aserejé, ja deje dejebe tudejebe de
sebiunouva majabi an de bugui an de buididipí (3 times)

A nanananananana...

Aserejé, ja deje dejebe tudejebe
sebiunouva majabi an de bugui an de buididipí (9 times)

Entonces, aserejé quiere decir nada? O quiere decir algo en una otra idioma?

No, aserejé no tiene significado en lo absoluto. Es una palabra inventada... :/

Aserejé sounds to me like 'I said a hey',o 'digo hey' en español!Your translation sounds mostly ok but 'parece de contrabando' is in the form of he/she/it and I think the 'it' is more appropriate here.Parece means to look as well as seem, which is pretty much the same.So 'it looks smuggled',probably in reference to the turquoise suit would make more sense.I have the feeling the suit is probably shiny as well! :-P

The chorus line is actually the first verses of "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang, in heavily gibberish-fied Spanish.

"I said a hip hop
Hippie to the hippie
The hip, hip a hop, and you don't stop, a rock it out
Bubba to the bang bang boogie, boobie to the boogie
To the rhythm of the boogie the beat"

Basically what happens when someone who doesn't know the language tries to sing along. ;)

The song is actually about a guy hearing rappers delight , in a club. The. Trying to find out what the songs called by asking people but he didn't know the words so put jibirish to the rhytme
