Del brano scritto come "Gloucester(shire) wassail" si conoscono una decina di versioni (qui ho riportato quella "standard") in cui la prima strofa diventa il ritornello; interpretato da molti artisti di ambito per lo più folk, e molte corali. Il canto è diffuso anche presso le comunità celtiche in America.
