I know folk songs as any poetic expressions are extremely hard to relay into another language.
But I am curious about the meaning of the song to an average native Pontian performer.

Because ther is no english translation about the meaning of this word. Korona in greek means the crown. But in this sing korona refers to a bird.

The title of the song has 2 meanings:Either Trigona is a female name pretty usual in people from Black Sea(Pontus) or the woman's name is the name of the bird(turtledove), that is usually known from folk songs (trigona=my love), whose movement the dance represents.
