Ljudi su išli u kolonama,
nikom nije smet'o vjetar što je dun'o,
te majske nedelje je došao Osijek,
al' opet je Koševo bilo puno.
Sjedoh negdje u gužvu u raju
i čuh samo brujanje mase
danas nam odlazi Asim Ferhatović

takva mi je bil ćud

When the original song came out, the theory that Hase is a metaphore for the late president Tito was very popular. Most importantly, Hase's last game was not in May and not on a Sunday, but it was Sunday, May 4th 1980 when Tito died. This new song confirms this theory and extends it.
