and the "train": I don't see that a RER ou S-Bahn is meant but S-Bahn-Stationen would be correct.

Couleur locale: If you think there are meant banlieus of Paris, then one should'nt in my opinion make a translation with "S-Bahn", since S-Bahn does not exist in Paris but in some (big) towns of Germany. Better would perhaps be to translate train by Metro resp. U-Bahn. The distance is lesser than such of ordinary train stations
so many: I neither see the many "I love yous" nor the Herzen in the original. Why do you think there are many?
In each case: there are more "I love yous" and Herzen, since Mauern and Rüstungen (this is metapher) is plural.
If you write many hearts this could and would mean, she painted more than one hearts on one wall.
