Ты не вспомнишь мой голос;

Yay, "The Cure" fans!

>Laughing into the fire = "бросившись со смехом в огонь"/"смеясь, броситься в огонь". Regular smile Just like Ignus from "Planescape: Torment".

>in time
Shall fix. The song surely carries a heavy tone of going mad slowly.

>spin doctors"
Interesting. I'll work on it as well.

"When the Planessss burnnnn and all life is but torchesss, then Ignusss ssshall at lassst... be at peace."

I've first played PS:T in August, and it turned to be my favourite game just at once. The writing is just top-notch, which I cannot say about the both unofficial translations into Russian. They are something that Ignus would set on fire with especial pleasure, even though he wants the whole multiverse to burn. I also want to play with the German translation, when I improve a bit.

Annah didn't get me that misty-eyed, though her feeling for The Nameless One are surely powerful. I seem to like Mistress Grace better: calm, intelligent and very interesting to talk to. And her conversations with Morte and Nordom, of course.
And I didn't want to kill Ravel, who had fallen for TNO so hopelessy. ...But, come on, he had a wife! Wink smile

One day, one day, when I'm grown up and mighty, I shall at least try to make a pleasant Russian patch, even if I'm going to be a lone warrior in this labor.

Deionarra still beats them all from where I'm sitting. The Practical Incarnation didn't deserve such a woman for sure.

And what about the male companions? Which do you find best? My vote goes for Dak'kon. :3

Oh, I have never met anyone who didn't like Morte, such a cute sharp tongue he is. Regular smile Though I try to play a different personalty each time, I could never bring myself to hate Morte or treat him rudely. Or stick him back to the Pillar of Skulls. He's a really decent fighter too.
Nordom acts as a comic relief as well, but the fact that he is an outcast from the normal modrons and haven't got any choice at all makes me feel for him.
I guess, my least favourite is Vhailor. His character and connection to TNO are interesting, but I don't like talking to him: you can fine his axe in your head just any time. That's why I mostly act Lawful and/or Good, since I don't my ass kicked by that justice fanatic in the Fortress of Regrets. The battle with Ignus seems to be much easier for me.

In my current walkthrough, I morphed into Chaotic Good myself. During the very first time I ended up as Lawful Good (hell of a surprise!). A pity that I didn't slay Trias that time. I so wanted to brandish around with his "Celestial Fire". As for my ideal self, I'm sort of... err... Lawful Neutral, maybe.

I'm poor at combats, that's why I enjoyed the kilometres of dialogs so much. It's so much easier to fight through the Curst Prison with Annah in your party, with her backstabbing all the guards, and Morte swearing at them.

I only set myself to getting Nordom into my party during the second time I played. Each time I entered yet another room I paused the game and search for possible routes. That was... painful. But: "Endure. In enduring, grow strong."

Hate paladins too. Still, Vhailor would have been so much better as one. But he is a total freak, since he serves not the greater good, but JUSTICE (he is fond of Caps Lock much). Have you been torturing grasshoppers as a child? If yes, Vhailor is coming for you.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen "Babylon 5" yet, but it's on my "need to watch" list by all means.

LemoncholicLemoncholic    Sâmbătă, 08/09/2012 - 18:40

Thanks, I trust your opinion on it. Shall watch as soon as possible. It's usually hard to make me sit through the whole thing, even if it's a movie, not a 120+ episodes TV series. But I'll give it a try.
Susan? Her parents have had some tastes in names. Regular smile

"Весело бросившись в огонь" will suit too, for a fluent Russian speaker.

LemoncholicLemoncholic    Sâmbătă, 08/09/2012 - 17:09

Gallows? An idiom comes to save the day: "с улыбкой висельника". Better?

barsiscevbarsiscev    Sâmbătă, 08/09/2012 - 21:23

Revenone a nos moutons

barsiscevbarsiscev    Sâmbătă, 08/09/2012 - 21:45

barsiscevbarsiscev    Duminică, 09/09/2012 - 04:05

barsiscevbarsiscev    Duminică, 09/09/2012 - 14:40
