--- *ABOUT MY WORK*
I would be glad to receive any constructive feedback to improve my translations/transcriptions. If you like any work from me, you can click the 'Thanks' button, leave a comment, and give it a rating. It's always a joy to see someone react happily over their favourite song being translated.

It is the Walrus (ship), from the TV series 'Black Sails'.
My username AquaticFlint is also inspired after this show.
--- *ABOUT LANGUAGES*
I'm always learning, and still improving what I already know. My favourite thing with languages, is to search for etymology and/or definition, as it helps to understand better a word and its meaning.
Songs are really a good way to begin a new language, as they help to memorize fast new words that keep appearing multiple times. I discovered it's crucial to start with pronunciation, especially for a language that does not have the same alphabet: as you listen to many songs in repeat (while reading the lyrics), it becomes easy to hear two very close sounds.
As I did that with English and Russian, my pronunciation improved incredibly fast compared to friends studying languages with books. In highschool, I was 3-4 years ahead from everyone else. Because the rest came along pretty quickly after I mastered pronunciation. It's like a set of invisible rules appeared over time, and I could tell by instinct a pronunciation of some unknown words just by looking at them.
Songs do hold a powerful part in studying pretty much anything nowadays, that's why I'm highly interested in being part of LyricsTranslate!
---*ABOUT MY PROFILE PAGE*
Below, you will see my translations' titles, and not the original title of the song. (I say this because, by default, many users display the original title of the song they just translated. I do otherwise to keep track of the languages I use for translations.)
--- *WHAT DO I TRANSLATE HERE?*
1- REQUESTS: only in French and English, and sometimes Spanish too. I mostly like to contribute to the community, by translating/transcripting requests and making lyrics understandable by others, even if I don't really know the song or the artist. It helps me to learn, discover new stuff, and overcome challenges.
- I do this either by looking at the website requests, or by receveing polite DMs (but keep in mind I can refuse any inappropriate request, or even if I don't like the song). I also subscribed to some topics in the Forum for this purpose and can often post there (e.g, “Reporting mistakes”, “Request video links”, “Double added”, etc.).
2- SPECIFIC WORDS & IDIOMS: I love to drop some info in lyrics. It can be annotations on technical terms I'm familiar with, adding idioms and commenting expressions, or adding footnotes about the background and the context of a song, etc. In return, I love when people drop info as well when translating.
3- PERSONAL: I love to add and/or translate songs from my favourite artists/bands, of course, but I seem to do it less than requests. I also like to translate some LT-based poems with rhymes (tagged poetic translation).
4- COLLECTIONS: I mentally created a lot of collections in my mind over the years, as I listened to music. My first one is about Motivational songs! Hopefully I will find the time to put the others on paper and create them all here for everyone to enjoy.
