伸ばしても伸ばしても
遠く届かない太陽は
いつだって、君を照らし続ける
目に焼き付くあのオレンジ、
涙を乾かす
その雨に溺れる
寂しい苦境な世界にも
心から愛で満ちた場所が有って
すべてを包んで離さない
抱きしめて少しだけ
茜空に染まる時まで
真夜中でひとり凍えそうでも
また日は上るよ
伸ばしても伸ばしても
遠く届かない太陽は
いつだって、君を照らし続ける
目に焼き付くあのオレンジ、
涙を乾かす

Madder Red
The morning sunlight is falling down.
Everything begins to wake up.
Today, again, without anyone knowing,
life will be lost and disappear.
Standing at the entrance to loneliness,
frightened, I stared down at my feet.
In this city, it is too difficult to breathe.
I am struggling unable to get used to this city.
Being unable to fly smoothly, with my soiled feathers,
I gazed up at the sky.
Because it is so cold and cramped here,
I wanted someone by my side to warm me up.
No matter how hard you try to stretch towards it, the sun is too far and can't reach you.
But, the orange glow which it continues to shine upon you, all the time,
sears itself into your eyes and dries up your tears.
Even in this world that is drowning in rain,
in this desolate, distressful world,
there are places where it is filled with love from the bottom of its heart.
There, I'll envelop everything and won't let go.
Embrace me, for a little while,
until this world is dyed with the dawning sky.
Even though the lonely midnights seem freezing cold,
the sun will rise again.
No matter how hard you try to stretch towards it, the sun is too far and can't reach you.
