I'm not the authority in Spanish, but since you requested proofreading here's my humble opinion:
1:2 I don't sleep too good - no duermo muy bien OR bastante
2:1 Again and again - una y otra vez 
2:2  Pero <cite>el tiempo sana todo</cite> y Dios... [a common way to express the idea]
3:1 [Seems too long, maybe:] Oh, recuerdo cuando era fácil decir que te quiero
Also, think about shortening other verses

Thanks, Jami, I corrected and made it (almost) singable, so nothing is too long anymore. You can check.

I reformatted both the lyrics and the translation and I hope it looks better this way.

It sounds much better. A few more suggestions:
3:4 He's wondering whether or not he still loves her. He's not sure if he can say that he does. From the previous verses it's clear that he's referring to saying " I love you." What do you think of: Ahora no sé si aún podré. Same ideas in stanza 6.
4:2 I think he may mean that she mothers everyone, but this is unclear. What do you think of: "Eres madre para todo el mundo" ?
4:3 I would use "hijo" for boy. Repeated in last stanza.
4:4 "Good as gold" means extremely well behaved. So maybe: Espero que se esté portando bien.
5:1 I'm not sure what's the best way to express this in Spanish. "Pero lo suficiente de mí" sounds a little strange to me. [@roster 31]: Rosa, if you're out there, please help!

By the time I read your call, you had received all sort of help.
Buen Sabor's suggestion "Basta de mí" is good = "hemos hablado bastante de mí".

Andrzej, regarding 3:4 I agree with Jami.

Regarding 5.1, it may translate "correctly" back into English, but I agree it feels clumsy. Perhaps something closer to "Ya basta de mi (o de mi historia/de la mia/de lo mio), dime ..."

Que difícil entender el español,
si lo aprendes, ¡no te muevas de región!

Escribí lo que sugeriste. Mi intención fue escribir en castellano y no en "latinoamericano".

@BuenSabor: “Chico” refers to a young boy and “hijo” is more universal. In this song it’s rather a young boy.

"Chico" refers to a young boy, yes, but usually in a non-familial social context; many times it is an affectionate way of addressing someone who is considered inexperienced or naive.

"Hijo" on the other hand, refers to the child in a parent-child relationship, which is what the English version is speaking of. "My boy" usually means "my son" (except when it means, said colloquially & disparagingly, "my servant" or "my slave").

3:4 And how about using Subjuntivo: "Ahora no sé si aún pueda"? I wrote it now and Google search tells me it seems to be used more often this way, even though it's also used with Futuro. The lyrical subject has doubts here, he's not sure, so it looks like it's a typical case when Subjuntivo should or at least can be used.

4:2 & 4:4 The expression "mother to the world" is used quite often, but I'm not 100% sure how to understand it. I think this example shows one meaning: "To the world you are a mother, but to your family you are the world". As I understand it means that other people see you as a mother. "Eres madre para todo el mundo" sounds like she was a mother of all children in the whole world - at least as for my Spanish - and I don't think that's what was meant. I just submitted a Polish translation and it's of course not a literal one. What I wrote was "eres una madre ejemplar". I think that's what was meant in this context. What's more, as it fits very well with the changed next but one verse I also changed it the same way in this interpretation.

3:4 sounds good to me
4:2 to 4:4 isn't that clear. Feel free to interpret it as you see it. Altogether, the translation sounds really good to me.

Your effort to do a good job is commendable, but don't forget that perfectionism borders on self abuse.

I would like to make a comment about the third stanza,
"Oh, aún recuerdo el tiempo
cuando era fácil decir que te quiero,
pero todo cambió desde entonces,
ahora no sé si aún pueda.
Pero puedo intentarlo."

The original, direct, is all right:
You dont need "el tiempo", 'cuando' says it.
"cuando era fácil decir 'te quiero', it's a quote.
Otherwise, as a reference, it should be "era fácil decit que te quería", with the two verbs in agreement (imperfect).
Next verse, "pero todo ha cambiado...".
Next - Se puede usar el subjuntivo.

Thanks for the votes, my friends, I'm only not sure whether I deserved them. I got a feeling it was a cooperative work. Nevertheless it's good to know that the resulting translation is good.
