Олень

Слова - мучительные трубы,
гремящие в глухом лесу, -
следят, перекликаясь грубо,
куда я пламя пронесу.
 
Но что мне лай Дианы жадной,
ловитвы топот и полет?
Моя душа - олень громадный -
псов обезумевших стряхнет!
 
Стряхнет - и по стезе горящей
промчится, распахнув рога,
сквозь черные ночные чащи
на огненные берега!

The Deer

These words - excruciating bugle sound
that thunders through the woodland dense, -
they watch, calling out rude and loud,
wherever I carry the flame of sense.
 
But what’s it to me the greedy Diana’s bark,
the tramp and flight of the hunt?
My soul - the prodigious buck -
will shake off crazed dogs’ affront.
 
Escaped, and choosing the burning course,
it will dash, horns spread wide,
through the thicket dark at night,
to the shores ablaze with light!

Thank you so much! I just deleted one of my translations and redoing it because it sounds ridiculous. Lol. Pompous and ridiculous.
