1. Qytetin tim e lashë e n’male erdha
Me hapin tim te lehte e nje mendim te kjarte
Dhe fare thjeshte sic hyjme ne familje
Mes jush i çilter erdha qe rinine e bardhe,
dhe vrullin tone, ta derdhim bashke.

Une jam i ri
ne moshe, ne shpirt e ne mendim,
Ketu kam ardh mes njerezve te dashur e te mire,
Dhe çdo shtepi sot
me ngrohtesi kudo me pret,
Ne zemrat flake
te ketyre njerezve une kam gjet
lumturine e vertete.
2. Tani ketu me njeh cdo shtepi e rruge
Çdo çamarrok i vogel mua m'pershendet
Dhe ata thone qe une jam i tyre
“Te mitë jeni qe te gjithe”- po u them,
“Gjithmone ne zemer do t’u kem”.
