Monte Castelo

Версии: #1#2#3
Even if I spoke the tongues of men
And spoke the tongues of angels
Without love, I would be nothing

It’s only love, it’s only love
That knows what is true
Love is good, it wishes no harm
It’s not jealous or vain

Love is a fire that burns unseen
A wound that hurts and isn’t felt
A discontented contentment
A maddening pain that doesn’t hurt

Even if I spoke the tongues of men
And spoke the tongues of angels
Without love, I would be nothing

It's to want nothing more than to be loved
It's a solitary stroll through a crowd
It's to not be sated when pleased
It's caring that one gains from losing it

It's to become a prisoner by choice
To serve who wins, the winner
It's to swear allegiance to your murderer
So contradicting to itself is the same love

I'm awake while everyone sleeps
Everyone sleeps, everyone sleeps
Now I see in part
But then we shall see face to face

It’s only love, it’s only love
That knows what is true

Even if I spoke the tongues of men
And spoke the tongues of angels
Without love, I would be nothing
