I am a native speaker of Polish. I am fluent in English and I can communicate easily in Catalan, Italian, Spanish and French. I also studied Portuguese, but my level is not impressive.

My priorities are Catalan and Italian, but I like to diversify my translations, so I also translate from/to English, French and Spanish. Occasionally, I might also translate (indirectly) from other languages and/or dialects, but these translations require extra effort and extra time and will not be my first choice.

I translate songs rather than poetry that is not put to music. When I pick out songs for translation, my personal preferences and choices are considered first. From time to time I might respond to a request submitted on LT if I am not too busy and if I like the song enough to dedicate my time to its translation. I am rather selective, though, so please do not be offended if I disregard your request. Please do not send me requests directly via PM, nor put pressure on me in any way.

Proofreading is not my priority. I limit myself to occasional proofreading of translations from/into Polish in combination with the languages that I know well enough (see above).

My main goal on this website is to develop my translation skills rather than to socialize. I am not a sociable person and I am fine with it. Please respect it and do not insist if for any reason I am unresponsive. In particular, I refuse to be involved in any fights on LT or to be bothered by people with stalking behaviours.
