My main contributions to LT are English translations of two great Soviet bards Vladimir Vysotsky and Yuri Vizbor.
When I'm getting tired of this 50 years vintage poetry, I take refuge in Russian Rock bands of the '90s:
Plus, a small number of transaltions into Russian.
I do believe that the only proper way to translate poetry is through preserving the original meter and rhyme pattern.
I welcome any corrections and discussions aimed at improving my translations and language skills.
