الصبح بدا
الصُّبْحُ بدَا مِنْ طَلْعَتِهِ
والليلُ دَجا من وَفرتهِ
فاقَ الرُّسلَ فضلاً وعُلا
أَهْدَى السُّبُلَ لِدَلالَتِهِ
كَنْزُ الْكَرَمِ عذْبُ الكلِم
هادي الأُممِ لشريعتهِ
أزكى النسَبِ أعلى الحسَبِ
هو خيرُ نبي في أُمتِه
سَعَت الشَّجَرُ نَطَقَ الحَجَرُ
شُقّ القَمَرُ بِإِشَارتِهِ
جِبْرِيلُ أَتَاه لَيْلَةَ أَسْرَى
والرَّبُ دعاه لحضرتهِ
نالَ الشَّرَفَ والله عَفَا
عمّا سلفَ من أُمتهِ
فمحمدُنا هوَ سيدُنا
فالعِزُّ لَنا لإِجَابتِهِ

The light of dawn
The light of dawn is from the radiance of his face
The sparkle of the night is from the glimmer of his hair
He exceeded all the Messengers in merit and rank
He guided people to the paths with his signs and proofs (x2)
He is the treasure of grace, his speech is sweet and eloquent
He is the guide of all the nations towards the Sacred Law
His lineage is the purest, his stature is the noblest
He is the greatest prophet in his nation (x2)
The light of dawn is from the radiance of his face (x2)
Trees walked towards him, stones spoke to greet him
The moon was split upon a signal of his hand
[Archangel] Gabriel came to him (with glad tidings from Allah) on the Night of Ascension [Israa']
And the Lord invited him [to the heavens] and bestowed upon him the honour of intimacy (x2)
He attained the highest honour, and Allah pardoned
All his nation's past sins
For Muhammed is our master and leader
Honour and pride are ours for accepting his call (x2)
