Hi!
I have some lyrics from a Taiwanese band here:

I started a request a while ago but no one translated it yet.
So i thought I might just ask here if someone can translate it.
erh... sorry can not help, spanish & english only.
But I guess u could translate it into geman urself, since the english version is out, and it's pretty good.
Thanks for your reply, but this thread is over one year old... and I noticed months ago that there is an english translation (I had requested it myself). I left the request into german open so I could compare the english and german translations in case there were mistakes in one.
Well, you got your point, in fact, If I were the translator, I would use different word , well, not much. It depend on ones understanding to the original lyrics and the skill of both languages.
But literally, the translationes are good enough.
Okay, thanks for telling me. It's rare to find someone here who speaks Taiwanese.
Well, there are 23 millions taiwaneses, about 3/1000 of world's population, that means, 1/333, I guess you did not communicate with 333 people in this website, did you? :p
But I'm curious about a german requesting for translation of Taiwanes song (I know it's from OST of the movie "seediq") How did you know? From the movie?
No, the band Chthonic is known in the german metal scene, I've heard their music on an online radio station here.
Of this movie I've never heard.
Since there are English and Taiwanese versions of their songs I was curious whether there are differences between these; seems like there are many differences. (You can find all the lyrics here).
Oh, I see...
Definitely the version of this website, the link u gave me, their version is too... poetic and far away from the orginal lyrics, basically it's another lyric... :p
btw, the way ChthoniC pronunce the taiwanese word, is kind of "glove puppetry's" (a floklore's opera in taiwan) method, diferent from the way we pronunce in everyday life. Interesting, I did not noticed that.
Interesting to know ^^
Yes, that is another lyric. It's written by the band itself, they've made two versions of each song, an English and a Taiwanese one, as I wrote above.
Yeap, You are right, I missed it :p
Let's say, that the English version express about the 60% of the Taiwanese version.
It's difficult to put all the meaning from Taiwanese into English, since every syllable is a single character, that is, a word.
Hope you can get german translations soon.
