Massimo Ranieri - 'A rumba d' 'e scugnizze (превод на енглески)

превод на енглески

The rumba of the street urchins ( scugnizzi )

This is the rumba of the street urchins
that is danced everywhere ...
Find the ladies right away
That make you two caresses
Handshakes, kisses and tickles ...
You taste and get used to it.
Like so many pears too ripe
you slip into sketching sketches,
until you fall ...
This is the rumba of the street urchins!

The hobby!
Camillo!
Now I'll catch them, now I'll sell them!
Oh, the garlic!

This is the rumba of the street urchins
that you dance everywhere ...
Find the ladies right away
that make you two caresses

----

I have the nail!
pure in the countryside
sweet, fine, all fresh, now I'll give it to you.

This is the rumba of the street urchins
that is danced everywhere ...
Find the ladies right away
that make you two caresses

You taste and get used to it ...
The more you take off and the more you excite ...
Like so many pears too ripe
you come down to splash sketches,
until you fall ...
This is the rumba of the street urchins!

I know this song because Raffaella Carrà sang it on Milleluci. And I love this song too Regular smile

Esatto! I know that tv show, perhaps the best 'varietà' of italian television ever. Raffaella was a nice and good showgirl, but honestly I think that the version by Massimo Ranieri is better. He is a singer with an excellent voice, and a good actor. So his interpretations are often remarkable.

Also, their pronunciations on some Neapolitan words are different Regular smile

Perfectly right, because Raffaella is born in the North of Italy - Bologna, with origins in Romagna - and Massimo is a true Neapolitan.

There are lyrics in the song that weren't in Massimo's version, by the way

There are many different version of this song, I'm sure that you know it...best regards

It's so weird hearing Raffa sing it after hearing Massimo Ranieri sing it and NCCP sing it... Raffaella and the whole Milleluci ensemble had pronounced "scugnizze" wrong and I was probably the only one that noticed it!
