Nonconformist songs
Song talks about unwillingness to be 'normal'.
In the song, Nando mentions the changes he (narrator) has been through and how, as a result, he started being seen differently by his peers.
This song talks about how judging others is a kind of abuse, talking from the point of view of a woman who changed without being noticed ('People say about me that I'm no longer how I was'). 'Oronero' actually translates into 'petroleum', but here it means what people really are: 'oronero' is a poison that turns everything that it touches into something ugly, which relates to judgment, specially in moments of weakness and frailness. Others almost never listen to you, but are always with sticks and stones ready to throw at you,
In this song, the climax of the musical 'Wicked', Elphaba finally acknowledges her powers and tells the Oz townspeople that she will no longer control them ('And nobody in all of Oz, no Wizard that there is or was, is ever gonna bring me down') and how she'll not play by the rules of others ('I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game').
This other song, the climax of the movie 'Frozen', shows how Queen Elsa acknowledges her powers, realizes that she should no longer hide them and is set free from what others expect her to be ('Let it go, let it go, that perfect girl is gone'). Curiously, songs #12 and #13 are both performed by Idina Menzel.
In this song, Pierangelo Bertoli shows his critics towards the music industry that looks only towards the commercial side of music, not respecting singers who write down their feelings. He even mentions his own condition as a wheelchair-bound performer.
Lina announced this as a pro-body positivity anthem/song.
Pink Floyd’s “We Don’t Need No Education” is a song about the education system and how it often stifles creativity. The lyrics talk about how schools teach students to conform to what they’re told, and not to think for themselves. The song was released in 1979 on the album The Wall.
Maybe this one qualifies? It's rather specific to the French subculture of the 70's, but some stanzas are quite funny

OK, I'm definitely surprised with this one, because there's a song with almost the same title and thematics by a Brazilian singer here

Maybe Serguei did a cover of it?
The start is the same but the stories go their separate ways after the first stanza.
The song was exceptionally succesfull in France, I wouldn't be surprised to find adaptations in other languages. It's very French-specific though, it couldn't simply be translated.
It's a fun, upbeat song at any rate. I got the general idea with GT but I guess a few allusions eluded me.
Good idea for a collection topic but right now I'm stumped 😂

And you can't have a collection without this catchy song somewhere in it

Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” is a classic song about standing up to authority. It’s the perfect anthem for anyone who’s ever been told to conform.
