Love Is About That

If I'm alone like never before
I've got no money1 and you know it
Forgive me
I'm a weird lady that
Can only hang around with you

Hug me
I'm not dead and you know it
If I cause you so much trouble
Forgive me
You never eat the dessert
But sometimes you make up for it

Hug me
Everything you don't have
You'll find by my side
In the world of illusions
Be sure, go on
Because I'm always here
Here!

I'm not dead and you know it
If I cause you so much trouble
Forgive me
You never eat the dessert
But sometimes you make up for it
Come over here

And hug me
Everything you don't have
You'll find by my side
In the world of illusions
Be sure, go on
Because I'm always here
Here!

[@Icey] [@Anerneq] [@Hampsicora] [@Stefano8], ciao cari! Scrivo perchè ho dei dubbi per quanto riguarda il titolo della canzone e quello della traduzione. C'è qualcun senso in 'è tutto qui'? I thought of translating it like 'Love is all around', but I went to check and confirm - ContextReverso led me to that. That's basically my major doubt here, asking so I won't make any mistakes in the future.

Thanks in advance. Saluti!

>> embrace me
-> hug me
It's just a matter of personal taste, but "hug" feels warmer

>> se ti procuro tanti guai / perdonami
-> If I cause you so much trouble, / forgive me

>> ma qualche volta ti rifai
-> but sometimes you make up for it

>> nel mondo dell’illusione
-> nel mondo delle illusioni

>> Tu vai sicuro, vai così,
-> You [can] be sure, go on,
I'm not sure how natural it is in English, but I think the meaning in your translation is little bit off from the original. Maybe we should elaborate more on that

>> L'amore è tutto qui
-> There's nothing more to love
-> That's all there is to love
-> Love is as simple as that
-> Love is just like this
-> Love — Nothing more about it
-> Love — That's all there is to it

"Love is all around": definitely wrong
"è tutto qui" means "there is nothing more to be said/looked for, it's as simple as that"
Of course it can also mean "it is all here", but not in this context

Thanks for your comment! All have been updated.

As for 'You [can] be sure, go on', I went with the imperative as well, it sounds more natural that way (at least for me, but I'm no native English speaker).

You're still missing one "hug" and one "trouble" (they appeared multiple times and you only got some of them)

Completamente d'accordo con Stefano.
