Truth is, there's no guideline for it. But, as they're creative and at most of times original works of people, I think they can be added as well. If we took the same rules as Wikipedia (like notoriety justifying creation of artist profiles here) we wouldn't be what we are today.

However, I think that only original material should be added - imagine if an artist profile and a new entry was created each time an YouTuber did a cover of someone else. It'd be a huge confusion to keep the site organized.
