Sonnet 18 Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;

But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

Haruskahku membandingkanmu dengan hari musim panas?

Haruskahku membandingkanmu dengan hari musim panas?
Sesungguhnya kau lebih indah dan lebih tenang:
Badai kan menggoncang kudup Mei yang comel,
Dan musim panas itu terlalu singkat masanya:

Kadang kala mentari itu terlalu terik sinarnya,
Dan kerapkali cahaya gemilangnya menjadi kelam;
Dan setiap yang indah dan cantik itu adakalanya merosot dan mereput,
Dari sebab kebetulan, atau perubahan semulajadi tanpa dapat dikurangkan;

Namun musim panas abadimu takkan pudar,
Mahupun kecantikan yang kau punya hilang dari pemilikanmu,
Takkan Maut mampu miliki mu di bawah bayangannya,
Bila dalam baris abadi dalam waktu kau tumbuh;

Selagi manusia bernafas, atau mata dapat melihat,
Selagi itu hiduplah ini, dan inilah pemberi nyawa padamu.

Хвала!

'Darling' was rather complicated as in this it means a sense of adorableness.
I chose 'Maut' instead of "Ajal' or 'Mati' as it means 'kematian' -
death.
'Tumbuh' in this would mean be forever in youth.
Truth be told, I debated with myself whether to put 'mata langit' instead of just plain old 'mentari'.
