I'm more or less the average teenager when it comes to hobbies, i like watching tv and movies as much as i get happy by spending all night going out with my friends. I'm also quite the gamer. But most of all, i LOVE learning, hearing and adoring multiple languages as well as their respective cultures. For example, i take swedish lessons as well as german and french at the moment. But i'm probably going to increase my knowledge of danish, norwegian, icelandic and faroese. Coïncidence? No... they are indeed all languages spoken around scandinavia. It's that particular family along with other germanic languages who appeal most to me. I might start sneaking around and picking up a bit of the Ulric language family as wel (Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian but these are plans for later on.
I am an open person when it comes to activities. But learning, experimenting with and talking all kinds of different languages is probably one of the things i love to do most. I was born and raised in Ghent, a little city in Belgium in the west of Europe. But since i haven't had the youth and appreciation I expected (if you want to know more quite deep stuff, talk to me in private), i plan to move elsewhere later on. Most probably Stockholm or London.
I studied French, German and Swedish mostly, so i have got a slight clue of how to speak these languages in its very basics. But obviously I'm not as good as a native speaker.... yet (:D). But at least anyway I trained myself to become bilingual in english and dutch at a very young age.
Although i'd very much like to know, learn and study all kinds of other languages as good as i know how to speak and write the english language, i tend to limit myself to scandinavian and german languages, for these are the languages i am most interested and talented in.
I'm a very relaxed and "zen" person who tries to avoid physical conflict (although capable of being stubborn and skeptical in subtle and mental-based conflicts and issues). And, who (as a side-note) also enjoys all kinds of different music. I have a side project as disc jockey going on momentarily, focusing on deep house and underground electronic tunes. But still i can listen to- and respect all kinds of music. For example: i watch the Eurovision Song Contest every single freaking year, i love it.
I hope you enjoy reading most of my translations and i think you just might because i spend much time to get them as correct as possible. Some feedback would be appreciated and if you want to talk or chat or so, don't hesitate to send me a message.
