A Little Too Much

It echoes the words of honey
Like a melody in my ear
And I bring to you in my sleep
The wait to see you again in the morning

While our two souls merge
I feel so feminine, I feel so beautiful
I hear my heartbeat rise in volume
I know that my heart will be faithful to you

Good or bad news
A raven or dove that bats its wings
To tell me that I have been zealous again
Oh, I must've loved a little too much
I should not have given everything I had

Chorus (x2)

I gave everything
Not passionately enough, a lot
Pretending doesn't suit me at all
White or black, heart too big
I must've loved a little too much
I should not have given everything I had

We reap what we sow
Follow me, I flee from you, flee from me, I chain you up
But it's no use to hold you back
If I waltz between love and hate

And I fall from a high point towards the threshold
Like a fallen angel banished from heaven
A leaf in autumn that the wind brushes off
Oh I must've loved a little too much
I should not have given everything I had

Chorus (x2)

Hello :) Good translation, like always...just some details ;)

"Je sais qu'il te sera fidèle" = the girl's heart will be fateful
"Pour me dire que j'ai encore fait du zèle / To tell me that i've been to zealous again
Oh, j'ai dû aimer un peu beaucoup / oh, i must have loved a little too much
Je n'aurais pas dû donner tout / i shouldn't have given everything (i had)"
"Pas assez passionnément beaucoup" = not passionately enough, a lot
"Mais ça ne sert à rien que j'te retienne" = i would have used 'hold back' instead of 'contain', but maybe they mean the same in the end?
"Et j'tombe de haut (haut) vers le seuil" = 'tomber de haut' means falling from a very point (both literally and figuratively)

And it's a pleasure, as always :)

Some lasts comments:
"I know that you're heart will be faithful" --> 'And I know that MY heart will be faithful to you'
"To tell me that I have to be zealous again" --> 'To tell me that I have BEEN zealous again'

Ahhh, I misunderstood that faithful heart line. So let's fix it
