The birds rule the yards of men
Offerings hanging for their visits
Yet they harbor hatred of others
Those alien to their world in forests
They dwell ever watching, waiting
Their craft stowed with nuts in trees
Provisions for the long winter
For the long journey back home
Beyond the chewy milky way
They hop and climb about
Lulling men to feed them nuts
And learning all they can
