So this song, gotta hand it Andrey, their 2016 album "You all" went by unnoticed but had some powerful songs on politics. This song though, it is touching. So first of all, that asterisk-ed stanza, my favorite part of the song, holds a lot of meaning. If we keep putting people in charge of something that they themselves are affiliated with, we can say goodbye to those things and never see them again, and that by dreaming of a better world we instead get rid of our power to want change. After all, if you're to fall, you are falling, but to take off from the edge, to take that jump is to soar, soar away from it all, and into whatever you desire (figuratively)
