Translation and description is from the CD's booklet: We have first visited and learned many songs from the women of Puvočiai in 2012. Almost immediately we fell in love with „I sowed the pigweed” [no. 11] – we didn’t have even a slightest doubt, whether to include it in this album. It is unfortunate that Stasė Dvareckaitė-Bogušienė (1935–2017), who definitely could have been called the soul and the main singer of village, passed away, but we still visit Puvočiai and sing with other lovely ladies: Marijona Puvačiauskaitė-Bingelienė (born 1931), Danutė Bingelytė-Zinkevičienė (bprn 1944), Rugilė Sinkevičiūtė (granddaughter of Marija), Marija Kudarauskaitė-Klimavičienė (born 1943), Julija Miliūtė-Dvareckienė (1934).
