Bayern

Es gibt nicht viel auf dieser Welt,
Woran man sich halten kann.
Manche sagen: Die Liebe!
Vielleicht ist da was dran.
Und es bleibt ja immer noch Gott,
Wenn man sonst niemand hat.
Andere glauben an gar nichts,

Bayern

There's not much in this world,
that we can be certain about.
Some say perhaps love,
has something do with it.
And there always remains God,
when you otherwise have no-one.
Others believe in nothing,
They've just made life hard.

So much can happen,
So much can occur,
Just there's one think I know 100% percent:
Never in my life would I go to Bayern.

I mean, if I were 20
and super talented,
and Real Madrid had already come knocking,
and the boys from Manchester.
And I'd already played for Germany,
and were mentally top fit
and Uli Hoeneß would be at mine
knocking at the door.

I wouldn't open the door,
because for me in doesn't even come into question,
to be with people from Bayern,
and worsen your character.

I just wanted to make that clear,
so that we understand one another:
I have nothing against Munich,
I would just never go to Bayern.

Does it really have to be like that?
Is life not nice enough?
To throw yourself away,
and go to FC Bayern.

So much can happen,
So much can occur,
Regardless of strong my destiny would be,
I would never go to FC Bayern Munich.

What kind of parents do you have to have,
to be so twisted,
to sign a contract
for this shitty club?

We would never go to FC Bayern Munich!
- Never to Bayern!
We would never go to FC Bayern Munich!
- Never to Bayern!

A few corrections:

"They've just made life hard." - "Life has made them hard/tough."

"Just there's one think" - "There's only one thing"

"And I'd already played for Germany," - "And if I'd already played for Germany"

"Regardless of strong my destiny would be" => "No matter how rough my life would be"

"And there always remains God" => "And there's always God"

"Is life not nice enough?" => "Isn't life too beautiful"

Since it's a proper name, I wouldn't translate it at all. Nobody translating an English text about basketball or football into German would translate the team names. It's always "Chicago Cubs" in German, not "Chicago-Welpen". :D

Well but look i guess not all English people know the word Bayern thats why i would also translate that word

And no German will understand what "Cubs" or "Lakers" or "Trailblazers" are, so you'd translate US basketball team names when translating a text into German? That's simply not how it's commonly done.
And the other way around? HSV becomes HSC? How about Harmony Frankfurt? Prussia Dortmund? :D

Try entering "Bavaria Munich" into Google and see how many results you get that point to the football club - zero. So another reason why translating the name isn't helpful at all.
