This song earned Saito Yuki her first appeareance in Kohaku Uta Gassen in December 31, 1986. In fact, Yuki became the youngest team captain at that time:
Kohaku Uta Gassen is a prestigious tv program aired every new year eve since 1953. Only elite singers of that year can be invited to this show. It's an all-star song battle. All the singers invited will be divided into two teams - team "Red" for female singers and team "White" for male singers - to do song battle. Saito Yuki became the youngest captain for team "Red" at that time. It can be seen that behind her, her team members are mostly senior singers older than her. But there's also Koizumi Kyoko (a.k.a Kyon Kyon) in her team (1:01).
