Из монотонных будней

Мир, новых красок полный,
Я, быть может, обрету.

On a small raft
Through storms and rain,
With just my dreams and reveries,
And my childish daydream,
I will silently sail away,
Midninght will only get in my house,
To fill the world I live in
With rhymes.
And even if
My journey isn't gonna be easy,
Pain and sadness will pull me down to the bottom,
As well as the burden of old mistakes.
But my raft,
Made of songs and words,
To spite all of my misfortunes,
Isn't that bad!
I don't run from those
Who predict me troubles,
They feel it's better and simpler
To stay on solid ground.
They can't understand
What suddenly has happened to me,
What has called for me in the distance,
That will soothe me.
And even if
My journey isn't gonna be easy,
Pain and sadness will pull me down to the bottom,
As well as the burden of old mistakes.
But my raft,
Made of songs and words,
To spite all of my misfortunes,
Isn't that bad!

"gonna be" sounds very slangy, while the song is written without any slang and there are even a lot of Russian old words in it.
