If I understood correctly, there's also a version in Japanese and English (the video you have added)? If so, it might be good to edit the title of this song to be "The One (English ver.)" or something similar.

I'm not 100% a Japanese version exists, as I couldn't find it anywhere.

I disagree, because Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, and cannot be considered a fully trustworthy source of information. There is no Japanese version, and the lyrics I posted were the official lyrics found under the music video posted on the band's YouTube channel.

Yes, but even in the official video's description it says 【"THE ONE -English ver.-" Lyrics】, which indicates that those are the lyrics of the English version...? I don't know Japanese though so I can't say for sure how much the two versions of the song differ from each other.

The thing is, that the so-called Japanese version is still mostly in English. Only a few sentences of it are in Japanese.

Yes, and it would still be totally fine to add the version with some Japanese lines as a separate entry even though it's mostly in English and quite similar with this one.
