Ἄγετ᾽ ὦ Σπάρτας εὐάνδρου
κῶροι πατέρων πολιητᾶν,
λαιᾶι μὲν ἴτυν προβάλεσθε,
δόρυ δ᾽ εὐτόλμως πάλλοντες,
μὴ φειδόμενοι τᾶς ζωᾶς
οὐ γὰρ πάτριον τᾶι Σπάρται
