[SOLVED] Can we have ‘<del>’ as another HTML tag?

I want to show the lines crossed out of the manuscript version of this song in the translator’s notes—italicizing them doesn’t quite do the trick, and explaining it breaks the flow of the paragraph. I suppose it will have limited use on top of this, but it will probably be there.
