Changes in how transcription requests with broken links are handled
As of now, transcription requests automatically get unpublished if the link to the video containing the song no longer works. Unfortunately, the request remains unpublished even if one is able to find another video of the same song and add it to the unpublished request.
May I suggest having the following procedure for transcription requests with broken links?:
1. When a video is discovered, users receive a notification that the link to the song they have requested a transcription of is broken
2. Users have a limited time to respond by adding another link
3. If users do not respond in time, the request gets unpublished automatically
4. If users later add another link to the same song, the request is republished.
I believe this will make the process easier, since there are generally multiple uploads of the same song on YouTube and it will save users the process of having to refill the transcription process again should the link the transcription request is based off fail.
