O Sol

The sun

Hey, pain!
I don't listen to you anymore
You can't lead me to anywhere anymore
Hey, fear!
I don't listen to you anymore
You can't lead me to anywhere anymore

And, if you wanna know
Where I am going
I am going to the place
where the sun is

Hey, fear!
I don't listen to you anymore
You can't lead me to anywhere anymore
Hey, fear!
I don't listen to you anymore
You can't lead me to anywhere anymore

And, if you wanna know
Where I am going
I am going to the place
where the sun is
where the sun is

And, if you wanna know
Where I am going
I am going to the place
where the sun is

Yeah! Han!
The path to the sun, eh!
There, Iararará!
The path to the sun, eh!

some suggestions :)
verse 1, line 2: would 'você não me leva a nada' literally translate to 'you lead me nowhere'?
verse 2, line 2: 'where I am going'
verse 2, line 4: 'where the sun is'
verse 6, line 2: 'Caminho do Sol' -> The road/way/path to the sun?

Hi Ni,

Thank you :)

I didn't mean to translate it so literally, but yes it means what you said. :) I can change if you think it would be better.

Just a curiosity, can't I write just: 'Where am I going'? It is a question that has not been asked, but the question is in the air.

'Caminho do sol' - when I read it I imagine a road or trail which leads me toward the sun. What would you suggest me?

no you can keep it as it is...I just wanted to confirm the literal meaning :)

I suggested 'where I am going' only because I assumed that it was carrying on from the previous verse ('And, if you wanna know') and in this case 'where am I going?' would sound odd...however if the two verses are separate you could very well use 'where am I going?'....

any of these: 'The road/path/way to the sun' :)
