"among so many others - This sentence has a double meaning, it could also be translated into something like "among so many of different ones". The point is that everyone is different, and that's the reason for the next part of this sentence, "she's different too". It's a wordplay.

As for these three dots in the middle, they represent the silence in the song and supposedly it's the time it took for the teenager to grow up. Yet she stayed the same.
