¹ Man zeigt nich mit Waffen auf niemand und nichts = You
don’t go pointing your guns at no one and nothing:
the English sentence creates a double negative,
which makes it positive:
“You point your guns at anyone or anything.”
One of the negatives had to go.
²* Magazin = Armory: a military
building, usually for storing weapons.

⁵ straight translation: denn der mit dem längeren Lauf
