"Helicopter carpet" (kover-vertolet, ковёр-вертолёт) is an ingenious play on words. In Russian, "flying carpet" (or magic carpet - a folklore and fantasy trope) sounds the same as "airplane carpet." The author replaced airplane with helicopter, resulting in "helicopter carpet."
