The lovers to whom they love they didn't give give*,
My beatiful faced one, my sweet talking one, they saw it too much too much*.
Without her these days won't pass, these days, these days
My girl, my heart's searching for you, wants you, searchs for you.
Oh Mother-in-law, what did you do to us, what did you do, what did you do,
We have loved each other so much, we run away to me, we run away with my loved one.
My beatiful faced one, my sweet talking one, they saw it too much too much.
Without her these days won't pass, these days, these days
My girl, my heart's searching for you, wants you, you mom doesn't give you.
Oh Mother-in-law, what did you do to us, what did you do, what did you do,
We have loved each other so much, we run away to me, we run away with my loved one.
*"Giving" someone is used as a term to describe the ok of the parents (in this case girl's parents) for a marriage. So the singer is complaining about his (future) mother-in-law that she doesn't want him as a son-in-law.
*"To see something as too much for someone" fits very well in this context because it descirbes that there is no reason (from his perspective) to say no so in Turkish you say, yeah you think your daughter is worth more than a guy like me..
---------This song/music is the "gipsy" (not in an offensive meaning) one which HAS to be played on every wedding, especially in Trakya, european part of Turkey.----------
