Aber Mutter weinet sehr,

hat ja nun kein Hänschen mehr.

Da besinnt sich das Kind,

läuft nach Haus geschwind

Little Hans went all alone out into the big world.

Stick and hat fit him well, is in a good mood.

But mother cries a lot,
