Warning Shout

First you bother me, warp my mind,
leave me with a bitter taste of bile in my mouth.
Then you'll come crying for pardon, virtually beseeching, and
you're after a mouthful of honey.

You don't see that afterwards I'm torn,
I choke, I ponder, I extend a hand
and with this our lives equal a river that's drying up with
stones that are cutting and I keep wondering for how much longer?

There are many little things - minuscule, gnawing, devouring,
crushing little by little our ideal.
There are many sentences lost in a world of screams and gestures , in a blame game which pains me badly

I don't want any reasons as I know
how wrong I am, how much I let be destroyed.
Yet, I I feel in the air the last drop that makes the glass run over and I can't gulp it any longer

Look closely, our case is a door that's ajar.
I looked for a better word.
Try to understand my warning shout
Look closely, it's love that makes my heart move
There is one needy side that says yes
and this life of ours screams no

Look closely, our case is a door that's ajar.
I looked for a better word.
Try to understand my warning shout
Look closely, it's love that makes my heart move
There is one needy side that says yes
and this life of ours screams no
