Translation

Do you hear the drums

The day dawns and you know
two souls are in your body
during the day you can't hide for yourself
what drives you through the night.

Your deeds will remain,
there is no way back.
You're standing in the eye of the hurricane
and the silence breaks.

Don't you hear the drums
in your dreams?
Do you hear the drums
when you're alone?
Who once danced in the moonlight,
follows the drums,
when dusk sets in.

Therefore don't just stand,
so the shadows see no one.
You'll have to move,
because it moves the earth.

Your deeds will remain,
no matter how far away you are
and you'll hear the drums,
when you go into the nights.

First off, thanks for the translation. Just a couple of nitpicks.

"Don't you hear the drums
when you're alone?"

More like "do you hear the drums when you're alone?"

"and you'll here the drums,
when you move into the nights."

Misspelled 'hear'. Also, "go into the nights" seems better.

Thanks! I've changed the translation and used your suggestions to do so.

"during the day you can't hide for yourself
what drives you through the night."

Reading through again, a more literal translation may work better:

and in the day you can't deny
what drives you in the nights.
