Come what may
I am here
Come what may
I will wait for you
Return on the wind
Oh my love
return quickly
if you please
How long has it been
I have forgotten
Why I remained
Far from you
Each moment
is more painful
Return on the wind
If you please
I know, I know
Who you are to me
Come what may
I will wait for you

I think "Volta no vento" means "Return with Godspeed" but then this line would be redundant with "Volta depressa" ("Return quickly"), so the artist might be referring to a symbollic return as when the wind causes a sail to move a boat. In this case the wind assists in the lover's return.
