A beautiful song about the Madrid terrorist attacks, thanks for this translation. I think though that "yo no te conosco y ya te hechaba de menos" should be "I don't know you and I've been missing you": "and I already missed you" would translate as "y ya te perdi", as in missing an appointment rather than missing someone.

Also "un dia especial este 11 de marzo" is wrong; sounds like she's saying "ni especial este 11 de marzo", which gives the opposite meaning i.e. "not even special this 11th of March", which sounds more poetical anyway, that a day like any other was turned into something else.

Cycodamo, I think you are right about the "missing" phrase. I am not sure I am understanding the second comment, but I'll try editting the translation thought.

Oh, I get what you say in the second comment now...I actually used the lyrics provided here. I've been browsing around and all the lyrics I've seen of this song say "un día especial". I could be wrong though...

'Que apaga la luz' could be translated as 'and the light gets turned off'. In the tranlsation this sentence could be interpreted as the action of taking the hand turns the lights off.
