Sucker

You went drunk and made us drunk and came to curse us.
You don't care after yourself, sucker, you only want to bully us.
You don't care after yourself, sucker, you only want to bully us.

How many times you ought to be kicked for always bullying,
and you happen to curse everyone with no reason, sucker !
You happen to curse anyone with no reason, you sucker !

Without doing anything, your soul commands you to curse,
because your head is found every day banged up, you sucker.
Because your head is found every day banged up, you sucker.

"εσούρωσες" means: pass by, transit between people, walk between people, pass through the crowd ?

σουρώνω (εσούρωσες in the past) means get wasted but it also means strain. However, here the song talks about a man getting drunk and picking up a fight

But it could mean "πέρασε", "περνώ", "διαβαίνω" ?

Νο none of them. Maybe you're confusing it with something else?

LL TeixoLL Teixo    Fri, 24/04/2020 - 13:37

Could mean "passed among us" as "πέρασε ανάμεσά μας" ?

Σουρώνω (Sourono) it's a verb and it means literally strain as if when you strain pasta after cooking it.
Figuratively it means get wasted, get extremely drunk.
Used in the third person (σουρώνει, κάνει σούρα) it means ruffle and it's used for cloths , mostly for skirts or dresses.

Nothing else.
